Super Saturday at Eastnor Pottery

Our brilliant potter’s wheel weekend and day courses are just perfect for any level of experience. That said, we love observing people who have never touched clay. Nothing fills us with more joy than watching a complete novice improving and developing from one pot to the next. It’s the best thing!

At the end of the day the studio is filled with all sorts of wonderful shapes and sizes of vessel, some more technically robust than others! It’s a rarity all participants reach the same standard of competence….but from time to time, it does happen.

Saturday 23 May 2026 will go down in Eastnor Pottery history as one of these sessions. All eight participants entered the studio at the same level (ie none – had a go once!) All eight emerged at the close with boards of full of technicaly brilliant pots. WOW!

Well done everyone – we were blown away by your collective potter’s wheel prowess.
