What You’ll Do
On Arrival
You are guaranteed a warm welcome from your hosts, celebrated studio potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams.
Professional Demo
Once you have settled in, we explain and demonstrate the making process in easy to understand steps. Then it’s over to you!
Hand Modelling a Go Go!
You’ll be handed a lump of clay, hand tools and a board to work on. Although you are expected to work independently, we are never far away to offer advice and guidance. Once you have completed your clay sculpture, we show you how to paint using coloured slips and underglazes.

A great couple of hours with Jon and Sarah learning coil pottery. At the end of the experience there were pots, tea lights holders, cats and even a hare to show for everyone’s efforts. Highly recommended.
