About

Eastnor Pottery Courses and Workshops

What?

Remarkable pottery experiences for individuals, groups, schools, businesses and organisations. We work with tens of thousands of workshop participants, all ages and abilities, exploring creativity and sharing the therapeutic benefits of working with clay.

Where?

Eastnor Pottery is located within the magnificent Herefordshire Country Estate of Eastnor Castle, surrounded by the Malvern Hills. Great walks and dramatic scenery make this the ideal place to spend a creative break.

Home or away

If you are unable to visit the Pottery studio in Herefordshire, The Flying Potter is more than willing to deliver the Eastnor Pottery experience to a venue of your choice.

Who we are

Eastnor Pottery is a family run business established in 1994 by professional artist potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams. As well as making and exhibiting their unique designs, the couple have a combined 50 years’ experience of working with thousands of workshop participants, all ages and abilities, all over the West Midlands and beyond.

‘We cannot recommend Eastnor Pottery highly enough: the friendliness and welcome of the staff, the quality of the teaching, the environment and the value for money are faultless.’

Taylor

‘The studio has a warm, happy atmosphere and the staff are friendly and share their knowledge and expertise. My advice would be…Go and see for yourselves these guys are great’

Alison

‘Under the patient and unhurried tutelage of Jon Williams, I’m soon to be the proud owner of six pots, plates and bowls. I can’t wait to get back to the wheel!’

Sharon

‘We have just had a brilliant afternoon at Eastnor Pottery, celebrating Kalata’s 11th birthday with all of her friends.’

Jackie

‘Not just for kids! I celebrated my 30th birthday at Eastnor Pottery and a group of friends. It was an awesome day out.’

Dave

‘It was such a relaxing atmosphere with other small classes going on around us. We had a lovely lunch and then back to the wheel. I would recommend this to anyone, and will be coming back for another go soon.’
