If you haven’t already read our previous blog Pottery Experience: Staycation 2026, please take a gander. Not only will you learn about our Summer programme of pottery courses and classes, you’ll see Herefordshire is a gorgeous destination for a UK holiday.
As a follow-up, we’re focussing on x3 local accommodation partners where our aspiring potters have stayed and had a thoroughly nice time…all within a 20 minute drive of Eastnor Pottery.
1) White House Cottages

Five self-catering cottages set within peaceful meadows and woodland, just ten minutes from the historic market town of Ledbury. White House Cottages offers a relaxing rural escape with easy access to local charm and amenities.
This family-run business is personally managed by owners Paul and Angela, who live on-site and provide a warm, attentive welcome. Sustainability is at the heart of their approach: they use environmentally friendly products, champion local businesses, and offer EV charging facilities to help guests minimise their environmental impact.
2) Woodside lodges

Set within a beautifully rural landscape, the Scandinavian lodges at Woodside Country Park offer a peaceful retreat in 25 acres of landscaped grounds. Guests can enjoy far-reaching views and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of this family-run park.
Bordered by more than 100 acres of mixed woodland, the setting has been thoughtfully preserved and enhanced. Wildflower areas and natural woodland habitats have been carefully introduced, creating a haven that supports a rich diversity of wildlife.
As well as the lodges, Woodside also offers camping pods, a bunk house and facilities for touring and camping.
3) The Talbot Ledbury

A historic Ledbury hotel with rooms dating back to 1596. With its striking black-and-white timbered façade and rich heritage, The Talbot is brimming with character and timeless charm.
Guests can relax in the cosy, dog-friendly bar, where a roaring fire offers warmth during the colder months. A secluded courtyard garden provides a tranquil spot to unwind on sunnier days.
With 12 en-suite bedrooms, The Talbot makes an ideal base for exploring the nearby Wye Valley, the rolling Malvern Hills, and the surrounding countryside.
And there’s more…
Of course, these are only the tip of the accommodation ‘ice berg’. There are so so so many beautiful places to stay in and around the three counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Please check out our tourism partners who all have extensive accommodation lists.
