We’re delighted to announce details of our fun and creative clay modelling sessions for families scheduled for the fast approaching Easter holiday.
Funny Bunny is the title and participants, all ages and abilities will get to make rabbit inspired clay sculptures using the pinch-pot, hand modelling technique.
Once potters have finished modelling their creations, they can paint their bunnies, there and then with coloured slips and underglazes.
The resulting work will need to dry thoroughly before it is fired twice in the Pottery kilns. This whole process takes approximately one month and participants will be notified via email once their work is ready for collection from the Pottery. If participants are unable to collect, P+P can be arranged at £5 per item.
These sessions are designed to be inter generational and grown-ups have as much fun as the kids. No previous experience of working with clay necessary, just a willingness to get creative with clay and have a lot of fun.
The 90 minute sessions commence at 11.00 am on both days and cost £25 per participant. U12’s need to be accompanied by an adult.
