Once again we’ll be heading on down to Countrytastic to share our love of working with clay with thousands and thousands of families.

If you’ve never been to Countrytastic, we can whole heartily recommend. It’s perfect for families looking for a great day out, packed full of activities and agricultural inspired fun.

We’ll be there encouraging young makers to model Super Hero Fruit & Veg. You’ll be able to take your creations away with you on the day to dry and paint at home.

Countrytastic is a one day event and takes place this coming Thursday 28th March 2024 at The Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

Looks like we’re in for a chilly few days – time to cosy up! Join one of our Clay Modelling sessions for families in half term and create a Cosy Cottage. 🏠
😊
These creative sessions are designed for adults and children and no previous experience of working with clay necessary, just a willingness to have some fun with clay. 😀

‘Cosy Cottage’ takes place Tuesday 13 February and all though the morning session is fully booked, we do have space at 2pm. Please visit our Clay Modelling page to check availability and to book your spaces.

With Summer a mere whisker away, we are pleased to announce details of our fabulous pottery sessions for families in the holiday period.

Pirates and Mermaids provide the inspiration and participants, young and old are invited to explore the nautical theme in clay.

Dates:

Tuesday 30 May 2023 (half term)

Tuesday 1 Aug 2023

Tuesday 15 Aug 2023

Tuesday 29 Aug 2023

The prospect of making a ‘Jack Sparrow’ or an ‘Ariel’ out of clay is an appealing one, and of course, no self respecting Pirate or Mermaid would be without their ship or clam shell.  So much potential for the imagination to run wild and we are genuinely excited to see what visitors make.

Oh yes, you also get to paint your clay work there and then with a considerable spectrum of under-glaze colour. Once the work has dried, we’ll fire and glaze your creations, ready for collection from the Pottery a few weeks later – we’ll drop you an email to let you know when they are ready. if you are on holiday in the area or are unable to collect for whatever reason, P+P can be arranged at £5 per item.

Places cost £25 per person and can be booked online. (follow the link and scroll to the bottom of the page)

Delighted to announce we’ll once again be expounding the scientific attributes of clay at The Cheltenham Science Festival taking place 6-11 June 2023.

We’ve been a  staple of the MakerShack since 2016 and worked with 10’s of thousands of participants getting hands on with clay in this marvelous, family friendly interactive space.

Just to whet your appetite, here’s a few photos from the MakerShack last year….and a lovely little video produced by the the organisers.
