Eastnor Pottery co-founders; Jon Williams and Sarah Monk have been invited by the long established Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen to exhibit as Guest Makers! Jon and Sarah will be showcasing their ceramics during March and April 2026.
What is the Gloucestershire Guild?
The Gloucestershire Guild, founded in 1933 and offers fantastic opportunities for crafts professionals who reside in and around the Cotswolds. They have a wonderful Gallery in the Montpellier area of Cheltenham from which Guild members sell their work. As well as promoting its members craftwork, the Gallery also runs an exciting ‘Guest Maker’ programme alongside.
Gallery manager, Tracey Burgoyne said, “We invite selected makers to show in the Guild Shop alongside our members for a two month period. The Guest Makers have done very well in 2025 and we are looking to continue the trend!”
A wonderful opportunity
Sarah and Jon are thrilled to have been asked to exhibit. Sarah commented: “This is a wonderful opportunity for myself & Jon. It’s a fabulous shop full of the highest quality contemporary designer makers. We feel very honoured.”
Since Christmas, the Eastnor potters have been beavering away in the studio, creating unique pieces for the guest slot.
What will Sarah be exhibiting?
Sarah spent a lot of studio time in January and February creating flower bricks in various sizes, pouring bowls, espresso cups & butter dishes, all lovingly decorated with spring flowers and cheery colours.

What’s Jon been up to?
Jon spent his time during the winter months working on the potter’s wheel throwing rocking snails, fruit rattles & sculpture.
“We’re both really excited to be exhibiting in the Guild’s prestigious Montpellier space. I’m particularly interested to see what the good folk of Cheltenham make of my interactive ceramics! As well as the rattling fruit and percussive bugs, my rocking snails will be making an appearance too.”

The Gloucestershire Guild Shop is located at 18, Rotunda Terrace, Montpelier, Cheltenham, GL50 1SW and is open Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.
