Family make ceramic Daffodils at Eastnor Pottery in memory of beloved family memberWe’re closed Friday 19 – Monday 22 April. Back to it on Tuesday 23rd and have sessions starting at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm amd 3pm. Booking essential and you can reserve your session by calling 01531 633886 or email admin@eastnorpottery.co.uk

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our lovely customers a Happy Easter and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Pottery soon.

A few weeks back we were contacted by a young videographer and photographer called George Nash. He asked if he could visit to shoot some footage to add to his burgeoning portfolio of photographs and moving image.

We were instantly struck by the professionalism of his approach and the initiative he’d demonstrated in doing so.

George spent a busy Saturday morning in March with us filming and photographing our customers and staff in action. He also brought along his drone to get a bird’s eye view of the Pottery and surrounding Herefordshire landscape.

George was very easy to work with, putting ourselves and more importantly our customers at ease as he moved around the studio, capturing large and small interactions. He demonstrated a really good eye for composition and worked very hard to capture the ‘right’ images.

We are so impressed not only with the results, but the speed in which he delivered the finished work. We think he’s captured the vibe and environment we strive for perfectly. Well done George!

rejected pots left over from potter's wheel workshopsIt’s always an extremely productive day for participants on our one day potter’s wheel workshops. Everybody makes loads and loads of work.

At the day comes to a close, we encourage participants to choose their favourite pieces to be fired and glazed.

The rejected ones are plucked from their boards and piled high in a collaborative tower before being wedged into a soft lump ready to be made into pots again and again and again! :)

Participants from Hey Clay 2017 at Eastnor PotteryFREE wheeling III 23 – 25 March 2018

Once again we are ‘throwing’ ;) caution to the wind and taking part in the immensely popular, terribly creative and extremely good fun HEY CLAY event.

We are inviting individuals and families to make a pot on the potter’s wheel for FREE.

Participants get to take their creations away on the day to dry and paint at home or, they can be left with us to be fired and glazed at just £10. An additional £5 per pot will entitle the maker to paint their pot in ceramic colour right there and then.

15 min time slots available all day. Pre-booking essential. Tel 01531 633886 or admin@eastnorpottery.co.uk

We also have oodles of FREE parking on site.

HEY CLAY! is a national celebration of clay which gives everyone the chance to unleash their inner potter at venues across the UK through free workshops and taster sessions.

The event is organised by The Crafts Council and takes place 23rd – 25th March as part of the BBC’s GET CREATIVE FESTIVAL
