Car Park
The car park a little uneven in places. There are no pot holes but the surface is occasionally gravelly here and there. There are several dedicated parking spaces very close to the Pottery entrance. (10m from the door) The path to the main door is tarmacked and on the same level as the car park.
The building
Our characterful Grade II listed building has been developed and adapted to make it accessible as possible for all our guests. Entrance to the Pottery is on the same level as the car park and path. Once inside, visitors will notice the low ceiling. Please rest assured it’s only the reception room that has an exceptionally low ceiling – the main studio has plenty of head space! There is a single 20cm step down from the reception room into the main studio. A temporary ramp is readily available for wheel chair users and customers with limited mobility. Please contact the Pottery in advance of your visit if you think you might require the ramp so we can position it ready for your arrival. (Contact details above)The floors are a mixture of terracotta tiles and wooden floor boards. Walkways are kept clear.
Accessible toilet
There is room in the loo for a wheel chair. There is also a grab bar and movable toilet frame.
