Bespoke sessions for further, higher and adult education. Jon and Sarah have worked with students all over the country, delivering one off presentations and demonstrations as well as longer residency projects. Jon has four years experience of lecturing on an Arts Foundation course.

Three dimensional media

In further and Higher education, students must be introduced to a variety of experiences that explore 3D media. Working with clay and The Flying Potter ticks all the boxes!

New skills

Workshops often include working on the potter’s wheel. This is usually a first-time experience for students and a great opportunity to learn a new skill.

Ceramic artifacts

The Flying Potter will always travel with examples of their ceramic work and contextual material. Students get to handle and experience contemporary craft first hand.

As art and design graduates, college lecturers and professional artists, Jon and Sarah have vast experience of discussing art, design and contextual issues. The language of creativity is the life blood of their practice.
