clay pot on a potters wheel at eastnor pottery and the flying potter

happy customer leaves a lovely review of her pottery courses at eastnor potteryBIG Thank you to all our lovely customers who have reviewed us on TripAdvisor over the past months and years.

It really makes a huge difference to a small business like ourselves, particularly in these challenging times and we are eternally grateful for your effort.

Just before lockdown Nicola was one of eight individuals who participated on our Weekend Potter’s Wheel Course. Here’s what she had to say about the experience:

I have just returned from a two day course at Eastnor. The location was easy to find and facilities were great. I was part of a group of eight people, some of whom were returning but others complete novices. The group was friendly as were the tutors. We all received plenty of attention and learned a lot and also had great fun. We were encouraged to be bold and creative. I would have no hesitation in recommending the course to anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed it- the time went way too quickly 😀

Don’t just take Nicola’s word for it, please take a look at our TripAdvisor page for lots more fantastic and complimentary customer reviews.

We’ve been running workshops here at Eastnor Pottery and out in the wider community for 25 years. Safe to say, we’ve introduced tens of thousands of people to the delights of working with clay. Some of whom have proper ‘got the bug’, purchased a wheel and have never looked back.

Nicci is one such recent convert to the clay.

Having attended a couple of our weekend potter’s wheel courses earlier in the year she’s  purchased a W&K and attending a weekly course at her local college. She’s engaging with the squidgy stuff daily and sampling all kinds of wheel based making techniques on her course.

Here are a few results from an exploration into the world of jug making.
