Create a bowl or vase on the potter’s wheel under the expert guidance of celebrated studio potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams. Recycle your efforts or select one fabulous creation to away on the day to paint at home. Alternatively, for an additional £20, leave your masterpiece with us to be dried, fired and glazed. Once they’ve emerged from the kiln approx. one month later, we’ll drop you a line to let you know they’re ready for collection from the Pottery. P+P can be arranged at £5 per item.
Everybody can do it:
There are no mistakes in pottery – just happy accidents and learning experiences. The positive, inclusive nature of the instruction means everybody can join in the fun and achieve amazing results.
What to bring with you:
Some of the tuition will be close contact. You will also be entering a confined space and in contact with people you don’t normally meet. If you feel more comfortable wearing a face mask, please bring one with you. Staff will continue to wear face coverings for the duration of your visit.
Please wear old clothes and foot ware you don’t mind getting a little splattered in clay.
An apron and old towel.
Alternatively, you can hire an apron and towel bundle from us at £5 per person. (Couples are welcome to share a bundle between them)
