This is our mantra when we instruct people on how to make pottery on the potter’s wheel – Follow the 5 steps and success is guaranteed!

Illustrator Katie Glover designed this super ‘chalk board’ style poster, currently plastered all over the Pottery for participants to cast their eye over if they get a little stuck.

We loved working with these guys!

The fellas have all been mates since their university days at Nottingham Trent University and once or twice a year meet up to spend some time together.

This year it was Pottery in Herefordshire. Yay!

If you’re looking for the perfect activity for a family/friends get together then please take a look at our Introduction To The Potter’s Wheel Class at £40 per person.

No Biscuits in there Ted!

As long as our other guests are happy, we have no qualms entertaining four legged potters! Ted happens to be one of our regulars but has never thrown a pot on the wheel before!

Ted’s mum Leonie and her mum Heather participated in our Potter’s Wheel Introduction class and made some very presentable pots…but we think Ted aced them all!

Newly weds Emily and Benjamin visited the pottery in August 2020 and took part in our Introduction to the Potter’s Wheel Class.

Due to pandemic, a honeymoon abroad was out of the question so the pair enjoyed a mini-moon tour of the UK instead.

We loved creating a memory with Emily & Benjamin and the wonderful pots they made on the potter’s wheel serve as a permanent reminder of those precious first few weeks of marriage.
