As always, the Spring and Summer school terms are extremely busy for Eastnor Pottery and the Flying Potter.
We visit approximately 2-3 educational settings a week sharing the many benefits of working with clay with literally thousands of children and young people in and around the West Midlands.
Since Christmas we have worked with the following schools:
Ledbury Primary – exploring communication and literacy via clay & pottery
Washwood Heath Nursery – EYFS play with clay.
St Benedicts, Birmingham – Exploritary potter’s wheel sessions
Staunton on Wye – cups & saucers with YR 5&6
Vale of Evesham School – Coil pots for Mother’s day
Marlbrook, Hereford – Individual Buddhas
Woodlands Infants, Solihull – Clay dinosaurs with Reception
Chuckery Primary, Walsall – Greek coil pots YR3
Stanley Rd, Worcester – Show Garden for Malvern Spring Show
Prince Alberts, Birmingham – Spring collaborative pots and individual works

Phew!!!! No doubt we’ll be coming to a school near you after the Easter break!
