We’re delighted to announce a series of family clay modelling sessions planned for the Easter holidays.

‘Nest-Making’ is the seasonal theme.

Our hedgerows will soon be a hive of activity as feathered friends construct their homes from twigs, grass and feathers. Participants on these incredibly fun and accessible classes will have the opportunity to emulate this activity – but only using clay!

As well as experiencing a myriad of hand-building techniques, aspiring potters of all ages will also paint their creations with coloured slip.

The nests will need to dry thoroughly before they are fired and glazed. This whole process can take up to five or six weeks and participants will be contacted when their pots have emerged from the kiln.

Sessions are 90 minutes in duration and cost £25 per person. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult and places can be booked online. Please look for the ORANGE button on this page or if you’d like to book by phone, please call 01531 633886 and have your debit/credit card to hand.
