Got to spend a lovely morning in the company of Ledbury’s Evergreens at Ledbury Primary School.
Evergreens is a well-established club (in its 48th year) providing a weekly meeting for senior citizens within the Ledbury area to meet for a chat and Tea. Once a month they arrange an outing/or “treat”. Last week’s treat – Jon the Potter, a selection of articulate YR5 students and a bag of clay!
The children chatted with the Evergreen’s about their School’s values based education before helping members construct their own ‘values’ based story pots based upon their life long experience.
Lots of stories, anecdotes and lively discussion – oh and some super clay constructions too.
We love it here at Eastnor Pottery when our hen party guests really go to town on the fancy dress thing.
Grannies and Nannas were ten a penny at Eastnor Pottery a few weeks back as the silver haired and blue rinse brigade tottered into the studio as part of Ali’s pottery hen party celebrations.
The girls managed to stay in character for the majority of the session and produced some fantastic pinch pot creations as well as sampling the potter’s wheel.
Grey haired photos can be seen right here.
No sooner do we say farewell to one of our lovely pottery hen party groups, than another is at the threshold looking for a creative and memorable experience. A couple of weeks ago we played host to Kim’s group in the morning and Vicky’s in the afternoon.
These ladies had a fun and creative time making brilliant pinch pot sculpures out of clay as part of Kat’s hen party celebrations.
More pottery hen party photos right here.
We have lots of pottery hen party packages, but the ‘Rolls Royce’ option has to be the 3hr session dedicated to the potter’s wheel.
Amy and her friends spent a creative and relaxing Sunday morning making pottery on no less than seven potter’s wheels.
We’ll fire and glaze the girl’s masterpieces in time for Amy’s big day.
