Don’t we all just #LovePottery

Children get to make a pot on the potterywheel at eastnor potteryBig well done to all the young potters who joined us for our Valentines themed, potter’s wheel workshop sessions for children in the February 1/2 term.

Children as young at two and a half took to the wheel to create heart shaped pots, filled with clay models of stuff they love. There were a few busts of girlfriends and boyfriends ;) but on the whole, the young artists opted for pets, games and the occasional Big Mac 7 fries!

The half term holiday was quite a protracted affair this year as different educational authorities took different weeks off. We facilitated two Wednesdays of workshops in an attempt to accommodate our customers from Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

The next children’s sessions take place in the Easter holidays on Wednesday 19th April and are entitled ‘SPRING INTO SCULPTURE’ We’ll be running 1.5 hr sessions starting at 11.30am for the 4-8yrs and 2pm for the 9-12 age group. That said, we don’t expect people to drive out to us twice on the same day and younger/older siblings can attend either session.
