A brilliant way to celebrate your hen do or for any other occasion. We all had a fabulous time and Jon really brought out the best in everyone, even the less artistic of us! It was a really cosy and friendly atmosphere and Jon was very welcoming. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Thank you for a really lovely afternoon, it was great to get creative and can’t wait to see our finished pieces! I would like to thank Jon for the wonderful experiences had by the children of Claverdon Primary School during our two day residency. In the light of its purpose, this project was very special to all of us at Claverdon School and it was essential that we found the right artist to work with. The children still talk about Jon’s wonderful assembly when ‘the owl was transformed into a monster’!Equally they all like to look at the photos and share their experiences from the day. I know they are really excited to see the final masterpiece which they have all had their hand in. Thank you for your calm but exciting and yet most importantly, sensitive approach to our project.

Another wonderful day of creation! Quite literally as Year 5 children created their very own life forms to inhabit other planets. Jon’s assembly demonstration was a fantastic inspiration to the children and clearly influenced the skills used throughout the day: the creation of hollow bodies to avoid Kiln explosions; the thick edges needed for good joins; the lack of ‘weedy’ protrusions to avoid disasters in transit! We thought about it ALL! The newly invented creatures combined an enormous range of features and the use of coloured slip was the cherry on our artistic cake! We look forward to seeing our fired creations! Thank you Jon from All in Year 5!

So sorry for not getting back sooner, but well impressed that you’ve managed to paint and glaze you’re masterpiece – good work indeed. I’m never sure how many workshop participants get around to decorating their claywork at home so it’s great to hear your story. Can you post a photo of the finished item on our facebook page? I really had a great time in Bath Library at the Sky Arts Bath Lit Festival and the pottery session with Eastnor was so relaxing and rewarding as this pot in the making is now painted, glazed and sits nicely ensconced on my mantelpiece. It is a product made by me within a group of people from under 5s to over 70s and beyond.
The acrylics painting mixing colours was great and the teenagers who presented Shakespeare side by side with Hip- Hop. How many of us thought the quotes from Much Ado About Nothing belonged to Jay-Z? WHAT A SCREAM! Bev signing off…

Two inspiring and fun afternoons! My son loved the chance to make items using two different techiniques well explained and demonstrated by Jon at the start of the workshop. Once painted both will decorate our living room

60 in a day is good going; I can only manage to aid about 4-5 people per hour … would be interested to know (as it reads this way) how you managed to do this and not lose your voice/flake-out …

Am really looking forward to seeing how you work with the Clay Babies at Just-So.
