BMI Healthcare in Droitwich employed The Flying Potter to work with the entire staff at the hospital to produce a permanent and collaborative ceramic artwork to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the organisation.
Surgeons, nurses, admin & kitchen staff attended hour long sessions to create a giant Worcestershire Black Pear Tree. Each participant made either a pear or a leaf decorated in a manor representative of their own personality or interests.
Staff and management raved about the experience commenting on the fun and therapeutic nature of the sessions.
Once it’s been fired and glazed, the tree will be mounted on the wall in reception for clients and staff to marvel at and enjoy.
