Having let the cat out of the bag a few days ago (sorry Dave!) we had the pleasure of hosting Gills (not so) surprise pottery party! Family had traveled from as far a field as Cambridge to contribute to a collaborative coat of arms inspired by Gill. Husband Dave had been very busy printing off source material to help everybody with their clay modelling. Although we couldn’t arrange the sections in their ‘soft’ condition, everybody was excited about the outcome and we’ll definitely post some photos once it’s emerged from the kiln. In the meantime we’ve published a few pics showing the process of creation.
