scarecrow candle holder made at eastnor pottery and the flying potter made by kidsLocal children from around the three counties decended on the Pottery this week to take part in our children’s 1/2 term pottery workshops.

The youngsters were encouraged to make candle holders in the shape of scarecrow heads. (Worzel Gummidge eat your heart out!) However, having seen the pinch-pot demonstration, the temptation to make a halloween inspired sculpture proved too much. Dangerous looking spiders and pumpkin heads were very popular.

Next children’s workshops take place on the 28 Dec in the Christmas holidays and are themed “Box of Delights”.
