Having spent 2hrs and 7 miles face to face with Eastnor’s finest sludge (aka the brilliant #mudrunner ) it was straight back to work.
Forever the optimist, I thought the race would only take just over an hour (what was I thinking?!) and had booked a group in for a pottery workshop session in the afternoon. In practice, I had just about enough time to hop in & out the bath, jump on my bike and greet my guests at EP Central.
The participants were on holiday in Hfds celebrating Craig’s birthday (pictured with his x4 blue pottery shot glasses!) and were a delight to work with. In fact, sharing pottery techniques with the customers felt very relaxing and proved to be the perfect post race warm-down. Ah, the therapeutic delights of working with clay!
