commemorative rose pot made by baby rosa and her familyWe were joined by baby Rosa and her lovely family on Sunday to make a commemorative pot to celebrate her birth. Once the coil pot had been coiled, everybody made colourful, clay roses ‘squidged’ onto the surface of the pot. Great fun and once it’s been fired and glazed, a lovely keepsake for Rosa.

We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon at Eastnor pottery. We wanted to mark our baby’s arrival and this was just the thing. Very welcoming atmosphere, Jon made everything flow so well from teas and coffee, to explaining different techniques and helping with ideas. My family, ranging from 6months to 80 years, ALL thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we will definitely be back for more. We are also really looking forward to seeing our end creation – a great memory in years to come!
